drunken will be missed. next season's derby won't be the same without him coming on after 70 minutes and being stupidly and pointlessly booked after 72.

Have released Ferguson and Li Tie.

Will miss Ferguson's lack of intelligence.

They've let Ferrari go as well, he was supposed to be the rock to build their defence on (along with that bloke they bought and sold in 5 minutes).

But they're keeping Stubbs and Weir.

...

Aye.

2 reasons why I'll miss that.

1. I use it to set my watch.

2. When that happens I know we are winning the derby.

loved xabi's bemused look at him in this year's at anfield.

I loved the way Stubbs backtracked upon his earlier statements when resigning. Class comedy that club. Good luck to Duncan Disorderly with his new Security Guard's job.

from PA net :

"ITV Sport is delighted to announce that it has added to its outstanding roster of expert summarisers and pundits for next season's UEFA Champions League in the shape of recently-released professional footballers Jay-Jay Okocha, former captain of Bolton Wanderers and Nigeria, and the experienced former Scotland international striker and Everton stalwart, Duncan Ferguson. ITV Controller of Sport Mark Sharman commented "We are proud to add experienced and talented individuals such as Jay-Jay and Duncan to our expert analyst team covering UEFA Champions League matches. Both these top professionals will complement our existing stellar line-up of Ally McCoist, Andy Townsend and David Pleat.".

Further information available on the ITV Sport website.

Oh God make it stop!

'ckin Stella line up more like.

How many European Cup games do Pleat, MCoist, Townsend, Okocha and Ferguson have between them? Less than Neil Mellor?

Posted

Okocha probably has quite a few.

Could you imagine Ferguson doing the punditry when we play?

He'll run over and kick whoever the Liverpool guest pundit is and then looked incredulous when warned by Gaby Yorath.

no, of course not.

Didn't think so but after Gazza in the last World Cup I'd put nothing past ITV "sport".

How will Everton find anyone to replace him. He has been such a good buy for them. He only makes 45k a week for largely being injured, sent off or occasionally looking like a ridiculous cart-horse on the field. (OH I forgot they already signed Beattie)

I expect him to be playing for the Walton Prison Select XI within the next three years.

I could honestly never understand the big thing Everton fans had/have for Ferguson. Throughout his time for them all he's done is screw them over, either getting stupid red cards and suspensions, prison sentences, or injuries. As soon as Newcastle came in for him he was off like a shot, only to come back 2 years later as some sort of loyal mercurial son.

He's the striker version of Neil Ruddock. He just took the piss his whole career, and yet they worship him.

I don't get it.
