Guest Phil C Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 ...anybody? Proven PL striker, a bit petulant but, hey, he's Dutch. He's a diving, cheating prima donna some say but that can be knocked out of him, I'm sure. Presuming he wants to stay in the high paying PL, there's only the Ar*se (no chance), Chelski or ourselves that could pay his wages. And, if he's settled in the North...well? There again, there's always the Mighty Bar-codes to consider, I suppose.....?
Bjarkinn Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 we have a proven pl goalscorer over 30... God is better than horseface
Benitez Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 we have a proven pl goalscorer over 30... God is better than horseface as much as we love old Robbie, to just disgregard Van Nistelroooooooy as not being as good is blinkered (heh) of you imo. Just look at their records over recent seasons, just for starters! He's an excellent striker, dunno if he'd be suited to us like, and I very much doubt we'd go for him or he'd come here, but he's a heck of a goal scorer.
Snoeker Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 There again, there's always the Mighty Bar-codes to consider, I suppose.....? He's the new She®r(g)a® I tell you.
Figaro Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 We've just built a kennel why invest in a bloody stable now?
chrisbonnie Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 i hate to admit it, but id have that ugly f*** here in a heartbeat like i said in another forum, he may be a cheatign horrible diving c***, but he`d be OUR cheating, diving horrible c*** plus it`d pis the mancs off something fierce wouldnt it
Stevie H Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 name five better goalscorers in world football. he's top, top drawer. i can't stand the f***** of course, and the mancs would probably not sell to us so the point is pretty moot. he's exactly what we're missing though.
Guest The Chunk Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Keep the horrible cheating manc prick as far away as posssble. Some things are more sacred.

chrisbonnie Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 let them sell him to Villareal and then we can buy him off them on discount - third hand like... what about the rumour Figs that he`s going to Athletico in a part exchange deal for Torres, heard anything?
MarkD Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 He is what we need and we should try and get him but it would never happen. Proven at doing his job in our league, will be very motivated to say the least, be foolish not to try. I cannot stand the bloke as a person but I can see what he would add and the extra points we would gather from having him.
AnfieldCop Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 let them sell him to Villareal and then we can buy him off them on discount - third hand like... ....Forlan
Mikey Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Thommo seems almost convinced. But what does he knowMissed this, expand mate?
fred milne Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 He is what we need.Probably right but I just can't see it happening. I do think there's a good chance his departure will weaken Utd significantly - just as the previous sales of Stam and Beckham did.
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Can't believe people actually would want that horse-faced t*** at Liverpool. We haven't had a direct transfer deal with Manchester United since the 60's and long may it continue.
Guest Bernie Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 1. I think if I was Ruud at 29, and thinking of moving from man Utd, having spent the last few seasons in England, I think I might be tempted to try another league altogether.2. If he's not happy about not being an automatic choice at Man Utd, do you think he'll be happy with Rafa's rotation?3. I'd be happier getting a striker in his early/mid 20s as I don't see Rafa getting rid of Morientes and we already have Fowler
sutty Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Couldn't take to him. Diving ghet. I think I could take a more pragmatic stance tbh...

Knox_Harrington Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 i'd rather sign BellamyI'd have them both at the minute.
