Gomez Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Will not be involved in the match today, R5 said scum have announce he has left the staduim in a strop.
stressederic Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Seems like he's be left out of the 16 today for United, and as a result has taken himself home. Said it before, United play better football with Saha and Rooney up front, but you have to wonder who'll score their goals today if they need to win. Saha and Rossi up front?
Benitez Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Bit of a dramatic title there Gomez Monkey Man on Sky confirms he's buggered off home.
Guest Scot Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Bit of a dramatic title there Gomez Monkey Man on Sky confirms he's buggered off home. I think he's right but. He'll be offski for sure now.
Herbie von Smalls Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 saha was supposed to be doubtful. is ruud miffed that a less than 100% fit strike partner got the nod ahead of him? and more importantly, do we care?
NWR Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Idiotic. This is no way to treat the best striker we have had since the Lawman
DonRafa Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 (edited) According to Sky, he arrived at the ground, but has now 'gone home' according to a statement from the OT Okay, I think we should put in a bid for him. He may look like a horse but he scores goals for fun. Which is the kind of striker that can win you titles.... Thoughts? Drat! Too slow - mods plse merge with other thread Edited May 7, 2006 by DonRafa
Guest Scot Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Get him in. Not sure I could stomach that... Great squad addition but I really dislike him.
Guest Scot Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Idiotic. This is no way to treat the best striker we have had since the Lawman I agree. Smacks of 'Ahm ra boss'. Ferguson's an unstable lunatic.
Guest Red Mist Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I'd never want to see that ugly, goal-hanging b*stard in our colours.
Jeff guitar Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Idiotic. This is no way to treat the best striker we have had since the Lawman Certainly points to a deeper rooted fallout between him and Slur Alex.
NWR Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I agree. Smacks of 'Ahm ra boss'. Ferguson's an unstable lunatic. Stam, Beckham, Ruud. No man is bigger than the club. No man Fergie.
Guest Scot Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Stam, Beckham, Ruud. No man is bigger than the club. No man Fergie. Do you think he's planning to stay on next season? I don't.
Knox_Harrington Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Not sure I could stomach that... Great squad addition but I really dislike him.Never hugely disliked him to be honest and think he's a class act. He'd be magnificent playing for us.
Swipe Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 His treatment of RVN this year has been perplexing. Unless summat serious has happened behind closed doors - but Fergusons history of turning on big players and easing them out suggests thats doubtful.
Guest Scot Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Never hugely disliked him to be honest and think he's a class act. He'd be magnificent playing for us.Class player...class act stretches things. He's a diving, moaning, card-waving, girl.
Jeff guitar Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 If he's already sold to another club behind the scenes then perhaps he's protecting an asset against injury.
stressederic Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Stam, Beckham, Ruud. No man is bigger than the club. No man Fergie. Gary Neville breathes a sigh of relief.
Jim D Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 (edited) Time for a cheeky bid? 2nd highest goalscorer in the Premier league this season. Personally can't believe how the Mancs have treated him recently, by far one of their best players. Would be ideal to repair the strikers situation at Liverpool. Edited May 7, 2006 by Jim D
DonRafa Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Secondeded Thirded ....but still, get him in! I don't particularly like or dislike the man, but boy, can he score goals.....is'nt that what we need? AND think how absolutely P*SSED OFF purlynose would be if RVN's goals helped us to no. 19?
stressederic Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 I've always thought Van Nistelrooy forces the entire team to play a certain way, the team needs to be constructed around him. United played better football with Cole and Yorke upfront, and I think they do the same with Rooney and Saha. Van Nistelrooy needs balls dropping (oo-er obviously) constantly around the penalty spot. Of course when it happens he's deadly, and a top rate finisher, but he's not the most flexible or imaginative of players. He'll score goals wherever he goes though.
Guz Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Class player...class act stretches things. He's a diving, moaning, card-waving, girl. Yup, but so are most footballers these days. It'll never happen and van Nistelrooy will almost certainly go abroad but he would be absolutely perfect for the way Rafa players (in place of Crouch I mean) and knows exactly where the net is.
