marvinbarcelona Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 "Rooney philosophical on World Cup" - a head line from the BBC Well I found it funny. Would he even know how to spell "philosophical" and would he know what it means.
Stevie H Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 translation = "my foot is f***ed, so please stop talking about me maybe making the world cup".
NWR Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 "Rooney philosophical on World Cup" - a head line from the BBC Well I found it funny. I am sure he is not too worried about how to spell fillysofical

I am sure he is not too worried about how to spell fillysofical He'd have to be able to understand his bank statement first, and I don't think he's worried about how to spell philosophical either, and thats because he probably dosen't know the word exists.

So you clever chaps do. Choice is, know the meaning of philosophical and want for money and spend all day on here, or Not know the meaning of philosophical and be one of the best players in the world as well as the richest? Mmmmmm hard choice! and while we're on the subject of brain cell deficient footballers, what exactly does Stevie Gerard contribute on those Sky half time 'expert' football panels except to sit there with his legs wide open ? Guest Red Mist Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Listening to a lot of the English PL players makes me think why are they so inarticulate compared to a lotof the foreign players in the PL?It's true. A lot of these foreign footballers speak better English than the so-called English footballers. Not that Carra has a bad command of the language, but I find Xabi's English a lot more comprehensible.
