Figaro Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 (edited) "The Wise Man from Hortaleza" has named his last "definite" 22. Leaves one place to be snapped up by Vincente or Joaquin. All this is according to Marca, AS and the Spanish news at midday. Edited May 2, 2006 by Figaro
Wardy Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 No Garcia? Thought he'd have booked his seat with that hat trick.

Figaro Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 lol, "Luisito" bet ya Moro has a stormer ya know. he won't be as bad as Raul At least Moro has found his scoring boots - or boot
Clay Davis Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 he won't be as bad as Raul At least Moro has found his scoring boots - or boot Rauls been awful for two seasons now and still people don't seem to understand and get excited when we're linked with him.Crazy.
Figaro Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 bit early innit? whats the full 22? He's sending in the "official list" on the 15th but he's already run off an "unofficial" list which according to Marca is: Casillas, Reina Cañizares. Michel Salgado, Sergio Ramos, Puyol, Juanito, Pablo, Marchena, Antonio López and Pernía. Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Cesc, Marcos Senna and Albelda. Vicente? OR Joaquín?, Luis García and José Antonio Reyes. Raúl, Fernando Torres, Villa and Fernando Morientes.
Gerrardrules Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Cracking team that. But normally they underperform at the world cup.
windy city red Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 interesting..no del horno? i know he has been gash for chelsea but would have expected him to be in it.
Guest Red Mist Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Is Alonso going to get a start in the midfield? He's got some stiff competition.
benno2 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Is Alonso going to get a start in the midfield? He's got some stiff competition. Even without Baraja. Is he injured or just out of favour?
Figaro Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 Even without Baraja. Is he injured or just out of favour? Off form and Luis Aragones is Xavi and Xabi mad
Behind Enemy Lines Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Off form and Luis Aragones is Xavi and Xabi mad can't say as I blame him - a perfect combination.
nvdm Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Marcos Senna has looked utterly pedestrian every time I've seen him.
crisps Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 no Luque ...and who's their left back? lol, "Luisito" bet ya Moro has a stormer ya know. ...and david villa has a shocker and we do valencia a stright swap
_00_deathscar Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Id say only Xavi's better than Xabi - and that too marginally.
Figaro Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 (edited) So who gets the nod, Vicente or Joaquin? All depends on the stateof Vincente's knee - not looking good atm... and to make Aragones problem worse Joaquin has suddenly "re-discovered" some of his form Gravy - re: Getafe and BS - I spoke to someone at the club after seven or eight attempts trying to get through and was promptly told to stuff myself.
