Highlight: Beating the Mancs in the Cup

Lowlight: Getting beat by Chelsea and losing to Benfica.

Highlight was probably the derby. Having ten men for such a long period of the game and still turning them over was ace, closely followed by the Man U FA cup game.

Benfica was probably the lowlight. :(

It's open again tommorow.

High - Teaching the enemy how to its done with ten men.

Low - Feeling it in my water at half time against Benfica that it wasn't gonna be another Olympiakos. Still sung my heart out though and was proud to be there as we applauded them off at the end.

Highlight- The Manager

Low point: Benfica/Chelsea. I felt sick with those results.

Pretty much the same as everyone although Chelsea wasn't such a low despite the scoreline. No way did that reflect the game I saw. So my low would be Benfica, but again this is lessened due to our fans showing their sheer class and brilliance in applauding their second goal and still singing.

Highlight: The Mancs FA cup without a doubt.

beating the Mancs and the Bitters.

losing to the Chavs and Benfica.

of course neither of those defeats match the all time low of Arsenal in 89, still gives me nightmares.

Highlight: Beating Sunderland 1-0 at Anfield

Lowlight: Seeing Josemi run out for the last time in the Red Shirt.

you're kidding, surely you are kidding.:wacko:

Had to be there mate.. the atmosphere once the second half strike went in against the Mackems was second to none, and the minute of silence to remember Josemi's career at Liverpool brought a tear to the eyes of Millions.

Great times.

Highlights

honourable mentions to

1) beating Everton in the derby after they went wild with celebration when SG got sent off

2) beating the mancs at Anfield in the cup

3) beating Chelsea at OT in the semi final, great day.

4) Alonso scoring from 65 yards v Luton

the winner, however = The return of Robbie Fowler, just because...

Lows

the shortlist

1) defeat at home to Chelsea in the league

2) not winning the WCC Final after totally dominating for 90mins

3) lame exit to Palace (again) in the League cup

4) Benfica

BUT

the worst day of the season, for me, culminated in Rio getting a last minute winner at OT in a game i thought we bottled as a team, when the mancs were there for the taking, the cn*ts.

Low: When our skipper was 99% out the door.

High: When he couldn't go through with it because he knew deep down he belonged here.

High Point - Beating Man Utd in the Cup

Low Point - Losing to Benfica in the Champs League

Posted

Highlight: beating the Mancs in the Cup and the Derby (both) were boss too

taking my lad for the 1st time

Lowlights: cant say Benfica as I was bladdered...so Fulham or Charlton away

Posted

Highlight was seeing us partying in the Old Trafford stands. Closely followed by beating the Mancs in the cup and both derbies.

Lowlight was the Chelsea drubbing followed by Man U away, although I watched that one on telly so at least I wasn't subjected to the in ground tormenting. Benfica hurt but I had a feeling we were going out that night and so wasn't really surprised. If only I'd remembered my lucky scarf...

Highlights: the usual suspects, ManU / Chelsea in the cup, derby at home.

My lowlight was actually Chelsea away: I really thought that up to the goal we conceded (which was stupid in the first place) we weren't the worse team...
