Guest Red Mist Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 According to a sunday tabloid, Lineker's wife is bored with him and wants to "move on" with her life. Now the bizarre lives of celebs doesn't interest me, but I am curious about one thing - is Gary going to have to fork out money to his soon-to-be-ex wife once the divorce is finalised? If one partner is simply bored and wants another relationship, is the other partner, the breadwinner, obliged to continuing financially supporting his/her ex-spouse? Fair enough, had Gary been playing away, his wife should screw every penny out of him. But since she's doing the ditching for no reason other than boredom, will Gary still have to cough up for her upkeep? Any legal whizzes shed some light?
