charlie clown Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 there doesn't seem to be any news on the results of this from last night yet, and I'm sure there'll be something offical posted by Spike or Kev at some point, but early indications are that over £3000 was raised. Great effort. P.S. I know this is the 'wrong' forum but more people will see it in here and it deserves the extra publicity.

Guest Ant Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I was going to post something last night but was going to leave it to Chris or Kev to make a comment but since its been mentioned. It went better then expected and as said just under 3000 was raised, Later on in the evening Michael Sheild's Sisters/Cousins made an appearence bring a replica full sized european trophy. Correct me If I am wrong but the most cash payed out that night was for The Unique RAWK banner prototype which went for £140. Or it might of been for one of the shirts. Either way great night all round and the money raised was exceptional
Guest Murf Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Sarah bought the banner £140 then it raised more money getting your photo with it, about £2 a go, sound night and well presented by that Anny Road fellah Dave.
oakie bob Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 hope it was a good night in the oakie.........i am stuck here over looking the magic kingdom and had to watch the fireworks at 1am (est)................hard life
Guest Kev Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 The night overtook my expectations and then some. It was a great success, everyone dug deep and had a great night. Dave (Anny Road) compared the evening brilliantly, he was a real star and coaxed a lot of the bids. Chris will post something when he sobers up.
Armin_Tamzarian Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Was a great night, good to meet a couple more people from the forum. Anny Road did a brilliant job of compering the evening and bullying encouraging the bidders to outdo each other.
KopSpice Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Glad it was a successful night and much money was raised

Spike Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Just got back in and feeling as rough as owt... Great night though Firstly a big thank you to all that attended and all who put bids in. The amount raised is beyond any expectations that we had and mum and dad are absolutely astounded at your generosity. The same goes to all those who donated items or money to the auction. Big to Anny Rd who was an absolute star as the compere. Dave, you did a fecking amazing job Thanks to all at the Oakie for all of the work they put into preparing the night and hosting the auction. Thanks also to Kev for giving us the motivation to keep going with it and pushing us in the right direction when we needed it. Also to Ant - you were a star mate! Finally thanks to Gerry from the HJC, Noodles, and all others who donated items on the night and were there to support us, and also to Michael Shield's sisters, who despite their own situation took time out to come and support us -YNWA, and also for donating the european replica which is just absolutely immense, both as a trophy and as a gesture. It was also good to see some new faces and meet the RAWK lot as well. Thanks to you all for creating such a great night and for supporting us in bringing Stevie home. YNWA Chris
