Jim D Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 (edited) That goal was virtually a carbon copy of the goal they scored against us at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season. I remember at the time, the pundits, media were going on about our "zonal marking" being responsible for the goal being conceded. Think this goal today just shows what a load of b******s that was since the mancs don't defend zonally. Isn't it time we criticised man mark defending? Edited April 29, 2006 by Jim D
Guest redmilky Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Its a weird feeling wanting Chelsea to win.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 29, 2006 Author Posted April 29, 2006 yeah - watching a bit of the game, you realize who you REALLY hate
Magic8Ball Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 i'm watching the match, and I wonder what's Utd's record against the top teams ? coz they dont have a midfield, but they do have a decent attack
Jim D Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 (edited) Superb goal from Cole, what on earth was Rio Ferdinand doing for the 3rd goal?! Miles behind his own backline playing Chelsea players 10 yards onside! Edited April 29, 2006 by Jim D
alias75 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 these english players are doing their best to kick lumps out of each other...
Swipe Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 watching the match with no sound. What are they saying about his injury? Looks serious.
jfogarty Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Rooney is f***ed, looks a nasty one As much as I dont like the guy I hope it aint too bad
Swipe Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Rooney is f***ed, looks a nasty one As much as I dont like the guy I hope it aint too bad Terry has been hobbling around for most of the second half too. Big Phil is taking a voodoo revenge
Swipe Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 makes me sick watching them celebrate mind.. How s*** are their fans though
Jim D Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 makes me sick watching them celebrate mind.. Same here but they deserve it, 2nd place is up for grabs again now. Mancs now only have a 6 goal advantage over us. If we can beat Villa today convincingly, it will certainly pile the pressure on the mancs. They have also lost Rooney for the remainder of the season and they rely on him heavily to win games. I think we can still nick it.
Falconhoof Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 How s*** are their fans though shocking aren't they. We've created better atmosphere's winning the charity shield. Did anyone hear Andy Gray there ? He said something about last season they won it 'effectively coming from nowhere' Er, didn't Ranieri spend £200 million and get them to within a whisker of winning the league ?
Conchis Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Terry just said it's the best atmosphere he's ever seen at the Bridge
Cobs Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Er, didn't Ranieri spend £200 million and get them to within a whisker of winning the league ?11 points behind 'The Invincibles' of Arsenal - hardly a whisker but hardly from nowhere either what did piss me off was them banging on about Chelsea setting a record of 18 home wins in a season, giving a nod to Preston or Villa or something for 13 home wins back in the 19th Century and totally forgetting about the club who won 19 home league matches in 1978-79 season. the know-nuthin cn*ts oh and well done Chelsea better than the mancs winning it, only another 15 Championships & 5 European Cups to catch up
CarraLegend Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 That refereeing performance from Mike Dean was horrendous, he gave Utd absolutely everything, booked Cech because he mouthed off, let Utd players do it again and again, booked Makelele after 1 challenge, let Ronaldo off until the 3rd, let Rooney off from what could of been 3 reds with just 1 yellow and gave Utd about 20 soft free kicks. Thank f*** that prick isnt reffing the Cup Final.
