it is done in Super League because they want to ensure that Catalan dont fold, as they can not compete in tnew National League shouyld they get relegated (opposiong teams, mainly part time could not afford to travel)

Terrible idea -and let's face it, which clubs would actually vote for that?

 

Mind you, it might help relegate the blueschite, so it could be worth a trial season
