John am Rhein Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 or, more properly, 'Labour' government: What have they done recently which is worthy of mild infererence, let alone praise, as opposed to distgusted contempt? In the first term it seemed to be a mixture of good and bad. There were some good policies - the introduction of the minimum wage, independence of the Bank of England, etc. But since (say) 1999 what have they done which is worthy of the name 'Labour party'?
