Guest Kev Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Apparent major bust up after the semi over team selection and attitude of Jose after the match. Terry has, according to a mate of a mate indicated that he would be prepared to move to Liverpool, he's not the only player in the Chelsea squad that has expressed this opinion as well. All together now, Stamford Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. Stamford Bridge is falling down, poor old Chelsea. nb. Don't think it'll happen mind you, but how good would it be if it did ?
Bailo Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Never happen in 100million years and I wouldn't want him anyway. Good player, but w*****.
Gray - YPC Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I think I'm right in saying he was close to joining under Houllier at one point. I'm sure I read he had talks with us more than once. Not a chance in hell of it happening I feel - but it'd be amazing if it was true!
Owen1978 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Carra & Terry would be a awesome defensive partnership!Just hope fat frank doesnt express his desire to join us!
Fagan Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 it will never happen, but i would welcome him with open arms. anyone who wouldnt want him needs their heads tested. he's absolutely world class, and is a born leader
L19red Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 lets send rick parry to the england team hotel this summer instead of barbados, and Carra to do an interview saying how great it would be if John Terry joined Liverpool.id love to see the kite on Mourinho if that happened.
Leo No.8 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 How much would he cost though? Surely no chance we'd spend the kind of fee he'd command on an area we are already strong in. Only club who'd spend the kind of money we're talking about and need him enough to do so is Madrid...
AE Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 As much as I trust Kev this does sound like a typical internet rumour (sorry Kev, but the mate of a mate bit).I would love Terry at Anfield, he is one of the few Chelsea players I actually respect, but it would be a bit like Gerrard moving to the Bridge........... Could be a fun summer though
Rushian Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 so after SWP, Joe Cole and Terry all wanting a move to Anfield is there anyone left at Chelsea who wants to stay?
floyd Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 so after SWP, Joe Cole and Terry all wanting a move to Anfield is there anyone left at Chelsea who wants to stay?Winston Bogarde
RP Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Never happen in 100million years and I wouldn't want him anyway. Good player, but w*****. Isn't it a bit early in the day to be drinking?
whitewidow Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Kev - is there a quotable source on this? Good player (over-rated due to who he plays for, but would be solid first team member for us) - keen to know if I can get my hopes up or not?
Gravy Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I think I'm right in saying he was close to joining under Houllier at one point. I'm sure I read he had talks with us more than once. Not a chance in hell of it happening I feel - but it'd be amazing if it was true! You are completely right. He was on the verge of it before Abramovich came in. Chelsea needed the cash and a deal was very nearly struck. The Russian came in with his dough and that was the end of that.

It's a mate of a mate, and possibly another mate somewhere along the way that has been missed out along with the milkman's dog. But hey, if it happens I'll claim the exclusive rights and never let anyone forget it
Barnesy_10 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 he's a manc fan.... if he goes anywhere he will go there to partner Ferdinand...

Eiler99 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 (edited) Would he be any good at the Zonal System? Nah. He's too stupid. It would be like teaching Cisse the offside rule, but without the bling. Edited April 25, 2006 by Eiler99
Miracle@Istanbul Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I doubt Maureen would stand in the way of any player leaving the club if that player stood up to him and challenged his authority, but wether the Russian and Kenyon would allow it is another thing. The chav fans would go mental though if he were to leave, those feelings would be worse if he came to us. Maybe it is more likley that Maureen would leave.
AE Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Terry is their Gerrard IMO, even ahead of Lampard. He is the one player that will not be allowed to leave that club. It's a lovely rumour and I am sure it will totally wind up all the Chelsea fans (who probably don't realise and won't accept how close he actually came to joining anyway) but I think we have more chance of signing Ronaldinho this summer.
