Ripley Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 "The first goal came from a free-kick that wasn't a foul," added Carlo Cudicini. "Then the ball went through Frank [Lampard] and Paulo [Ferreira] and it was impossible for me to get to it. But their second goal killed us. I don't know how it went in. I don't think he meant to put it there but there was nothing I could do." (Guardian) No, Carlo, he wasn't aiming for the net at all.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 He is used to Drogba hitting them wide in the training sessions !
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Garcia was wearing a football strip, a pair of boots, running onto a goal with only keeper to beat. He then proceeded to shoot towards said goal, and it went in. Yeah, what the f*** does he think he was he doing? He could not possibly have mean't to do that, given the situation it must ahve been pure coincidence, one after another. Cudicini = numpty.
