Giles Barnes of Derby.

 

Only 17, played about 15-20 games for the first team, and from the bits I've seen and the reports I've heard he's gonna be special! Many used to rave about Huddlestone, but I was never a fan, but this Barnes looks a hell of a prospect.

 

He's strong, mobile, can pass, and seems to have a good footballing brain. He needs to improve his goal scoring and tackling, but he's only a kid and seems to have many of the attributes you'd look for.

 

So there you go...

Not sure if this counts but I really rate Kevin Doyle at Reading - think he's 20 and they paid about £70k for him last year. Reminds me of a young Sheringham.

He's 22, only started playing ball full-time at 19 though. Very good player, apparently we watched him a few times this season.
