stressederic Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Now Jose, you've got a bit of a reputation, so I'll choose my words carefully. You can go f*** yourself.
Rimbeux Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 They were in a rut of form, changed to 4 diamond two a few weeks back, as he clearly blamed the form of the wide players, and got some results. He was just not savvy enough to change his side when he should, ie before the game.
Guz Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Congratulations. You deserved to win. As for Mourinho, he has proved once again how tactically way off the mark he can be. To pack the midfield with defencive players and leave 3 wingers on the bench for a semi final (When your supposed to be the best team in the PL) Shows what a complete prick he really is. Is right. Especially considering Cole's success against us and the problems he caused us in the last 30mins. Beggars belief.

I think he's still blaming his wingers for getting beat away at Fulham, even though that was patently his fault as well.
locutusofliverpool Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I wonder what was he honestly thinking when he decided to play that narrow formation? Was he trying to use man power to dominate our midfield trio? Did he think that Gerrard and Kewell would be rubbish on the wings or something? Maybe that dodgy rumour about Kewell being injured was a clever ploy by Liverpool to get him mess around with his tactics
Crazy Horse Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 They said that this was the formation Chelsea went to when they had a man sent off against West Ham. Presumably Frank Lampard was playing the role of the sent off player...
Benitez Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I wonder what was he honestly thinking when he decided to play that narrow formation? Was he trying to use man power to dominate our midfield trio? Did he think that Gerrard and Kewell would be rubbish on the wings or something? maybe, like so many others, he's not clued in on Momo Sissoko
NWR Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I think he bought CM6 this week and it worked fine for him on that.
Moose Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 (edited) Nice touch him wishing us luck for CL qualification, the bitter ****. Edited April 22, 2006 by Moose
NWR Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Nice touch him wishing us luck for CL qualification, the bitter ****. Did he say that?? He is no longer funny. Look at his team. Who are the best players in his team. How many of HIS buys are his top players?
Bailo Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Nice touch him wishing us luck for CL qualification, the bitter ****. Nice one Jose.
Swipe Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Did he say that?? He is no longer funny. Look at his team. Who are the best players in his team. How many of HIS buys are his top players? Spot on. Can't deny he's added a strong mentality to his team/squad/club - but as a tactician? f*** off. the other week Peter Reid called him a genuis on Soccer Saturday.
Bailo Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 the other week Peter Reid called him a genuis on Soccer Saturday. Now there's an endorsement I want.
NWR Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Both JM and Wenger were made to look stupid today. Wenger called the Spurs bench liars because they said they didnt see the incident. Wenger said that about someone else. Nearly wet myself at the time.
Gomez Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Now there's an endorsement I want. As we all know, Peter Reid is a Football Genius.
Zoob Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I still enjoy Maureen's bitterness, and the comedy that flows from his lips. This free kick / disallowed goal thing will be added to his list of things he'll no doubt spout about all the time. And it just carries on making him look like a classless loon.
locutusofliverpool Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 (edited) I think he bought CM6 this week and it worked fine for him on that. Too bad Jose forgot to hit the save button before 5:15. Edited April 22, 2006 by locutusofliverpool
stressederic Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Now there's an endorsement I want. It's like Ben Affleck praising someones acting ability.

Nogsy Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Hear hear. His sole tactical move seems to be throwing on all 3 subs at once. Or sticking a centre half up front. I think Lineker made a good point. He was comparing JM to one of his own previous managers (was it Cruyff?) and said "Does he make decisions like this (his team selection), because he wants to be clever and get all the credit if it goes right". Sums up Mourinho. surely the fact that he so often throws on all his subs so early in a game, shows that he so often gets his tactics wrong.
