Benitez Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 3 finals in 2 seasons. He's quite good isn't he. All hail Rafael here!
12twelve Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Loved it when he looked so pissed off after the final whistle
Cooldude Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Got his tactics absolutely spot on today Some might argue the sitting back thing in the end, but all managers would've done exactly the same.

IgPig Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 God like genius. Love the way after the whistle goes in a major cup semi, he's round the players telling them what they did wrong. Did the translator throw a strop and not shake the great mans hand? He should be so lucky to be adorned with a touch from the rafatolla

Swipe Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Just have to watch the post-match interviews from both managers to see the difference in class between them. The thought that Mourinho could well have been our boss chills me to the bone. His interview sank to new depths of gracelessness. but the fact we annoy him so much makes me
timbean Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 After the game he hugs a grinning Reina and points up as if to say what the hell were you thinking coming out for that ball?
Bailo Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Love the fact he was trying to educate Cisse after the final whistle. He ain't gonna listen Rafa.
Gomez Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Now that I've calmed down, we should look at this rationally. I have seen mourinho bunch of mercenaries beaten a few times in crucial matches in the last two years. Us twice, the barcodes, Barca but today has to be the most impressive. Barca battered them and they managed a draw, but we really dominated them today, maybe only for 70 mins, but by then we had enough of a lead to ride it out, still very impressive considering their infinite resources. It has given me real confidence we can challenge them and their chequebook next season. Rafa
