Capello is to meet Marco Tronchetti Provera, boss of Pirelli and Second biggest shareholder in Inter on Monday next week.

Meanwhile, Moratti is preparing a bid for Thierry Henry.

Still at Inter, Adriano has slagged off the club to a Brazilian journo, then denied everything he said.

Emerson's wretched run of form is worrying Juve, especially as they seem to be stuttering badly at the end of the season.

Italians are worried that their poor showing in the Champions League augurs ill for the World Cup.

And the Gazzetta dello Sport is running an online vote on the best player of all time. Their ten nominations are, without a hint of bias ( ) Crujiff, Di Stefano, Eusebio, Maradona, Pelé, Platini, Rivera, Schiaffino, Sivori e Van Basten.

Buon ponte di Liberazione!

What would you think of Capello going to Inter Matty, given his associations with Inter's biggest rivals?

Oh and I told you Adriano's days at Inter were numbered ;) Although you'd probably help pack his bags at this stage!!!

Why would Henry go to Inter? He has more chance of success by remaining at Arsenal.

All Italian coaches revolve around the clubs in a way we'd regard as unthinkable. Trappatoni and Lippi both coached inter and Juve. Zaccheroni coached Inter and Milan, and Capello of course was at Milan. Not a problem, and he'd bring some discipline and order to the club hopefully. I think Capello's a bit fed up with playing in front of 8000 fans at the Alpi and just getting slagged off if they drop a point or two.

I'd keep Adriano. He's top quality, but might need a bit more sophisticated approach than Mancini can give him. Being surrounded by 10 Argentinians probably doesn't help a young Brazilian either.... :)

They don't regard that as success.

A list from England would probably have more than 3 Englishmen in it...

Hard to argue with Cruyff, Di Stefano, Eusebio, Maradona, Pele and even van Basten as credible top 10 candidates

They should bin him, Nedved, Thuram and Zebina. Those lads have had their day. Wouldn't be surprised if Zlatan left too.

So who would you rather won?

The amusement factor of seeing Juve blow a 13 point lead would do it for me. let's face it, one of them has to win it, so let it not be Juventus.

The biggest shock wasn't that he was a former Milan coach but that he was the current Roma coach and said not a million years ago that he'd never manage Juve.

As for Inter - New(ish) Manager same problems. Could do with a few more Italians in the side and an embargo on Mancini buying Lazio players. Stankovic I could understand, but Cesar with Solari, Figo, Wome, Favalli, Maxwell and god knows how many other left sided players.

I'm not sure selling Adriano would be such a bad move, and if Moratti could restructure the management side and convince Moggi to make the move (has he signed a new contract at Juve?) then the sale of the sulky brazilian (as well as a few more depatures, Veron, Recoba etc) could provide a sizeable war chest for Moggi to work his magic.

I am more puzzled by how willingly they swap players around all the time as well, although it doesn't seem to be happening as much lately, with Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio and Parma all falling off the pace in recent times.

There is not a club in the wortld that has a more random selection of players to me than Inter. Weird collection of journeyman who built a name for themselves somewhere, moved to Inter and promptly get nowhere.

Pretty much sums it up, they never get the blend quite right and when they do they decide they can't afford to give it the time it needs to settle and change it.

Please Banders, 'journeymen'???

Problems at Inter are more down to Moratti and the fact that he undermines the coaches to be Mr Popular with the players.

Cardie's point about Moggi is a decent one, but it would have to be someone like Moggi, rather than the King of Bribes himself.
