car parks in both the Lowry (multistory) and the Imperial War Museum (open). gotta be worth a shout i reckon.

Park in Alty & then get the tram to the cricket ground, then walk through to the footie

Last time I went to OT was for the Villa semi in 96 and there was a school about a mile before OT that we parked in. Anyone know if that still does car parking on match days?

yerp lots of schools ect do the parking - trouble is - there are now fewer of them & the ground new holds half as much again as it did 10 years ago. Plus the traffic round the ground before & after the match is a nightmare. (as far back as Alty)
