Cheering up our lass

Was thinkin of bringing her down to the Big Schmoke for some shopping and a bit of theatre. Now she said she'd love to go to see Dirty Dancing but a fear the tickets may be slightly expensive. (damn and blast) Is there anywhere I can get cheap 'uns? If not what shows do people recommend? The first person to say "we will rock you" will be hunted down and punched by me.
