I've a lot of time for Niall Quinn, and whilst I hope we can beat Chelsea, the difference between him and other pundits, are that his arguments are rational and well thought out.

He thinks Chelsea will beat us, fair enough, he's made his point and reasoning clear.

Exactly. I wish more pundits were like him. He made some great comments about Crouchey during the barren run and his advice came from someone who has been there and done it.

We'll see what happens on the weekend but you have to respect someone who gives their view in such a balanced way as Quinn.

He's wrong though ;)

I see Quinny's taken his eye of the ball, what with trying to get the finances together to buy Sunderland.

FA CUP SEMI-FINAL

Chelsea v Liverpool

(1715 BST)

I can see this one being 0-0 after 90 minutes, 0-0 after extra-time and I have a sneaky suspicion Liverpool will edge it on penalties.

There is such a fine line between these two teams and Liverpool are very good at stopping Chelsea playing, in fact they are excellent at it. Apart from the league game at Anfield this season, it is something they have done well at.

With it being a semi-final and a nervy, tense affair at Old Trafford, I think Liverpool will get through, but I don't expect any goals to be scored.

Match preview

Prediction: 0-0, 0-0 after extra time, Liverpool to win on penalties.
