Housing advice ?

At present I live in a victiorian terrace with an extension on the back Its quite a long one which is split down the middle front/back. This means I have a very narrow kitchet (not a problem) and a narrow bathroom. The main issue this causes is because a door could not open properly as it would hit the bath the previous owners put a sliding door in.

 

Well seeing as I plan to put a shower in and get the kitcheen done i though why not go the whole hog and get the kitchen and bathroom completly redone and get rid of the bath and put a shower unit in which will free up some space to put a proper door that does not look so shoody.

 

I for one will not miss the bath and the whole house will be a lot smarter but will it effect the house price of thouse wanting to purchase it ?
