Died aged 66 YNWA.

He had a couple of decent teams there at West Ham.

 

Good manager, nothing flash about him, was all about the players and good footy.

No. But I might put some money on Billy Bonds now for a West Ham Hat-Trick

Sad couple of months for the Hammers losing Greenwood & now Lyall.

Remember him from my Panini footy sticker book as much as anything.

 

Seem to recall he managed the West Ham side of Parkes, Devonshire, Cottee etc which was a very good team indeed.
