Lyon will bid £12M for his services.

This is the same Fat Sam that claimed he knew how to handle Diouf and could get the best out of him. As Scot said, the c**** deserve each other.

Just what I was thinkin! Also - Fat Sam, a 'father figure' to Diouf, so I seem to recall. What a horrible thought!

I remember when Fat Sam came out with that. Sppokily similar to John Gregory and Benito Carbone. That worked out well in the end to.

Dioufs absence from the side has coincided with Boltons slide down the table. Hated as he is, he is still a pretty effective player and has been the difference for them a fair few times this season.

of course they won't. Ged singled out diouf as one of the player's that had let him down when he left.

Looks like Diouf doesn't want to play for Notlob

El-Hadji Diouf remains on collision course with Sam Allardyce and has been left out of the Bolton squad against Charlton on Saturday.

The Senegal striker claims he has not fully recovered from a double hernia operation and cannot play at the moment.

Allardyce is angered by Diouf's attitude and has told him to "grit his teeth''.

The Bolton boss said: "He will not figure for the weekend. He is still saying he is feeling something wrong with his hernia.

"We had it checked out and we cannot see any problems. The specialist says there is nothing they can do.

"It has moved around to a mental problem that he has in terms of gritting his teeth and going through a little bit of the pain barrier.

"He is not able to be selected and this is disappointing.''

With four games remaining, Bolton are still clinging to hopes of a UEFA Cup place for a second successive season.

Allardyce added: "Hopefully Diouf can make a contribution before the end of the campaign.''

Defender Tal Ben Haim is available to face Charlton after sitting out the draw at West Ham through suspension.
