anny road Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060418-0905.htm I think his time maybe up come the summer, but I would love him to turn it round
Ronnie Whelan Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Are they mini-scousers yet? My little girl has the accent, definitely. Do you understand anything she says? When she brings her mates home to the house after school I try and listen to what they're saying but I haven't got a clue most of the time. It's not easy. My wife is expecting our third child as well so I'm sure the new arrival will pick up the local accent quickly.
Guest snez1 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Yeah, he seems like a really nice guy and he works his b******s off for us. It must be hurting him more than us that hes not scoring enough especially with the career he's had. Would love him to bang 10 goals more this season but i think he'll leave. Shame, could hav ebeen a great signing and i'd wish him all the best if he does mvoe on, he seems a class guy and was a class player.
hideNseek Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 i think he'll stay and Cisse and Pongolle will be off.
cymrococh Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 (edited) Throughout this interview you've been laughing and joking and generally in very good spirits. Despite the criticism, you seem happy here? If I wasn't enjoying life then you'd be able to tell as I speak to you now. I find it very hard to put on an act. I'm a straightforward guy and what you see is what you get. If I wasn't happy then I wouldn't be able to give the impression that I was. I'm very happy. I love Liverpool, I love the fans and I am very confident I'll come through my difficult spell here and score lots of goals in the future. Fair play to him. Kewell did about 15 of those "Now Liverpool fans will see the best of me" interviews before we actually did so maybe Nando can come good as well. Edited April 18, 2006 by Paul Caruso
chrisbonnie Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 he wont stay, and in reality, he`s the one striker that doesnt even warrant a second thought of selling, chame, i really thought he was our NEO
fyds Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 i think he'll stay and Cisse and Pongolle will be off.I think you may just be right.
Kenny_ Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 was browsing through some pictures from the memorial service... RIP 96
Figaro Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I think you may just be right. I think you could be right too.
Bootle Buck Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I have always had the feeling his class would show through in a really BIG game. To score a couple against Chelsea on Saturday could well turn his Anfield career around. I have a feeling Rafa will stick with him and get rid of FSP, Cisse and ALT. I think Rafa has the respect for Moro to allow him to see out his contract.
hideNseek Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Well I hope I'm right. Mori has a lot more to offer us yet and the more he gets used to the Premiership the more his true talent will shine.
Hassony Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Well I hope I'm right. Mori has a lot more to offer us yet and the more he gets used to the Premiership the more his true talent will shine.how long does he need to get used to the premiership?
McBain Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 how long does he need to get used to the premiership? He'll be ready by the time man is walking on Mars I like him and had huge hopes for him but he's just not suited to the pace of the premiership and no amount of patience will change that. I had huge hopes for Cisse as well mind. I should stop having huge hopes He'll go back to La Liga i'd imagine and will probably get back to near the level he was at 2 years ago

Guz Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I have always had the feeling his class would show through in a really BIG game. To score a couple against Chelsea on Saturday could well turn his Anfield career around. I have a feeling Rafa will stick with him and get rid of FSP, Cisse and ALT. I think Rafa has the respect for Moro to allow him to see out his contract. What has respect got to do with it? If he is performing as well as Rafa wants or reckons he'll get there then Morientes will stay, if not it'll be thanks for the effort but goodbye. I have no idea what will happen, it could go either way and probably depends largely on who else we can bring in. Personally speaking, I was more pleased with Kewell last season than I have been at any point with Morientes tbh and considering how excited I was when we finally signed him, he's been a huge let down. The worst moments are like his headed chance against Blackburn, he should be burying those kinds of chances because he's done it throughout his career but with us he seems a gear or two down from what he used to be.
McBain Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Don't do that because you'll come across as a bit of a misery guts. I'm tired of being the only cheerful one on here
Guest Les Howard Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Even though Cisse has outscored nando i would prefer to see the latter stay.As an aside, i really couldnt believe he missed from that Kewell cross on Sunday. I thought it was worse than Cisse's misses. The cross was SO good an' all. I'd love Moro to come good - I really would - but I just don't see it happening. Such a shame.
Owen1978 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 (edited) i do hope he stay, at least another 6 months no thanks, need the money to buy aguero! Edited April 19, 2006 by Owen1978
wacko Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I really like the bloke and can see his quality as a footballer. Just don't think he'll ever get used to the pace of the game, though. I'd keep Robbie and sell Moro in the summer. Robbie can do everything Moro can plus score goals. We'll still get a decent price for him in Spain.
