Poor Sunderland....Newcastle score again 1-3.

Chelsea have an indirect free kick 7 yards out and its blocked.

Essien then scores

Chelsea 3-0 Everton. Title is good as won for Chelsea.

Thats another score that can stay the same. The Boro one to thinking about it.

Sunderland have been awful. Possibly the worst team since Swindon. It's odd, given how easily they got promoted.

The Sunderland board got them relegated before the season had even begun. The amount of money McCarthy had to spend was a paltry and no where near enough to keep them up.

Swindon were bad but at least they played some good football! I remember both are games against them easy 5 nil win at there place but at home in a very good game we only got a 2.2 draw with a late Mark Wright goal! Edited by forde

ah, commentators.

Fowler has to start on Sat too, according to commentators

Managers are no better. Martin Jol said he thought Rooney had a quiet game!

Thought he was sound at the begining of the season, but he really seems to be on a mission to make himself look a pr*ck

Was in a bar with a number of Mackems watching that, all in their stripey tops n all. They should have all been wearing t-shirts saying "why couldn't we do this all season?", it would have saved them all taking turns to say it every time a pass found its man. Poor buggers. They were giving it a right go in the first half and their supporters were screaming at every shot, no matter how many miles high or wide it went.

Then Chopra came on.

Oh dear.

One of the worst derby defeats ever seen, there were only about 200 Sunderland fans left in the ground at the final whistle.
