M4TTA Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 hoping for a spurs win today, although with king out, they will struggle, hes been excellent for them this season.
CarraLegend Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 f*** sake, should be 2 up already Ah well, 2nds over
CarraLegend Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Missed 3 absolute sitters now, Utd have 2 attacks and scored 1.
Jim D Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Mancs have got away with it so far. Spurs should have scored three goals by now. One counter attack from the Mancs and they score.
CarraLegend Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Dawson the latest to miss a great chance, Utd's defence has been appalling so far.
owenthomas Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) c**** who was it Park robbed there? Edited April 17, 2006 by owenthomas
CarraLegend Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I thought that Lee looked good in Holland but he is awful. 2-0 the most undeserved 2-0 ever but thats what you get if you miss sitter after sitter

NWR Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 We couldnt score in a brothel on Friday, even though we had 60% of the play. Today?.....Strange sport we follow.
Jim D Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Definitely an undeserved 2-0 lead, the Mancs defence has been shocking and are very fortunate to not have at least conceded one goal. Mancs have kept the ball well but haven't really threatened in front of goal. First goal from a counter attack and the second well was a total gift.
NWR Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Robinson has not had to make a save yet. Just picked the ball out of the net twice.
Jim D Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 They mentioned during the game that the Mancs away record is exactly the same as Chelsea's. Its their home form that has let them down this season from catching Chelsea. In some respects that doesn't suprise me because the Mancs approach is suited to counter attacking football and so can hit teams on the break with the pace of Rooney and Ronaldo. Whereas at Old Trafford, teams have sat back, meaning the Mancs have struggled to break down teams. This is where that missing influence in midfield comes from. Against Sunderland for example, I'm sure the Manc side of 3/4yrs ago which contained Keane, would of won that game. I don't think they are as strong as the league table suggests and are heavily reliant on Rooney to provide that link between the midfield and attack. Compare us to them, our defence and midfield is better, our only shortcomings is in our strikers.
CarraLegend Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 About f***ing time. 1-2 That Vidic looks absolutely dreadful
NWR Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 About f***ing time. 1-2 That Vidic looks absolutely dreadful He is quite good really. Was that a corner? Nope.
Jim D Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 About f***ing time. 1-2 That Vidic looks absolutely dreadful Comedy defending! Finally they get punished for it.
Benitez Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 what happened there, I turn away for a minute, look back and all I see is Jenarrrrrse running away from goal

NWR Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 haven't been that impressed with him.. probably just first season nerve type thing.. he was pretty highly rated like.. I have sat right behind the goal a few times and seen him up close. He is very good. Next season I expect him to be excellent
