smithdown Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Yet again, the Celts how their class. Hats off to them.
Guest Jude Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Nice touch that. Well done Celtic and their fans.

libero Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I don't care for Celtic or Rangers.Bigots, the lot of them... Someone give that man £5 I have to live up here among them. I have mates who support both sides and they can turn into right erseholes at the sheer mention of the other side The bigot brothers is a fine description of the pair of them
Earl Hafler Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Excellent stuff. Is it just me or has there been far more exposure of Hillsborough this year ? Even had a couple of Manc season ticket holders buy my drinks during their game the other day.

That's my perception as well, don't think the FA have produced specific armbands before for example - I assume this is because the 15th fell on a saturday (and at Easter?). Well done to Celtic as well.

Hillsborough is a tradegy which should be shared throughout the footballing community and appreciated when it is Yes it was a great gesture from the stadium announcer on behalf of the club etc...It doesn't make my point any less valid. And thanks for taking the time to contribute to the thread in such a positive manner. Where would we be without your insight, wisdom and prudence? Keep going... A nice gesture from Celtic. Out of interest and ignorance, have they ever done something similar on an anniversary of the Ibrox disaster? Not trying to s*it stir by asking that by the way, just curious.
