pawlu Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Didn't Houllier sign Sander Westerveld in the summer of his first full season? I think that it was Evans who used to prefer James instead of Friedel.
Armin_Tamzarian Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 at the end of the game came over to our end and gave his gloves to someone behind the goal amongst our fans top man good keeper Unfortunately a fight then broke out between the lads waiting to get the gloves Was still kicking off as I ledt the stand.
Guest Portly Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Friedel has the first quality you look for in a keeper, which is reliability. The likes of David James pull off fantastic saves one minute and balls up the next, which makes for a nervous defence. I reckon Reina is a reliable keeper and I hope he stays with us for a long time.
Guest Kev Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Brad bottled it at Old Trafford, and that was that.
Guest Les Howard Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Brad bottled it at Old Trafford, and that was that. Is right. He should've stopped the corner which led to their goal. We lost 1-0. Finitto.

smicer07 Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Friedel was poor, anyone saying otherwise is looking back with rose tinted specs, I feel.
anny road Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Friedel was poor, anyone saying otherwise is looking back with rose tinted specs, I feel. he hasnt been poor for Blackburn...hence why I said he is a good keeper and he is
Paul_LFC Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Friedel put in one of the best displays by a keeper in the Premiership for Blackburn away at Higbury a few seasons back, he was awesome, saved allsorts.
