Ombudsam Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 He's getting better all the time. You have to take what he's doing now seriously as this run he's in is one of a genuinely good player
madaboutlfc Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 It's strange that. How he ever scored 70+ goals in France in less than 150 games I'll never know.confidence
Swipe Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 the goals must be f***ing massive with dwarf keepers. If that's the case, then I gotta start watching French football!!
L19red Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 12 months ago nobody would touch fowler with a 10 foot pole. he was injury prone, rumoured to be lazy/unfit and well down the pecking order at city. Put him in a red shirt and you can see the old magic is still there. He has lost some pace, but replaced it with wonderful vision, and he is still as good at puting the ball in the net as anyone you care to mention. I cant wait to see him fully fit and raring to go after the summer.
Ombudsam Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 his pass to Cisse can be added to my "better than sex list" in the genny
KD07 Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 The chest pass was straight out of a Ronaldinho commercial.
owenthomas Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 his pass to Cisse can be added to my "better than sex list" in the gennywas that Fowler who put that ball over the top for Cisse to run onto in the first half? i thought it was Xabi - whoever it was it was fkin class.. i'd love to see Fowler stay.. think he's earned it.. Cahill... we are supposed to improve our team next seasonbe a shock if that happened wouldn't it?..
KD07 Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Yep, it was Xabi. No doubt the media will have it down as another 'hopeful punt'.
Paul B Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 They are very different types of striker and both would compliment Crouch very well. "ooh, LOVEly new shoes, Peter mate!" "Yes, and where DID you get that fanTASTic haircut, Pete?"
Maharajkumar of Vizianagram Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) Fowler's passes and flicks are brilliant. Everything I thought Moro would be. Owen would be an example of a striker who has the footballing brain to know where to run for them, and the pace to get to them. "ooh, LOVEly new shoes, Peter mate!" "Yes, and where DID you get that fanTASTic haircut, Pete?" Excellent. Edited April 17, 2006 by Aritro
Bootle Buck Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) I reckon Rafa's stalling on Fowler as he is waiting to see what a certain other former Livepool player is wanting to do after the World Cup. After all, he won't want both of them here and if "a certain other player" isn't coming, it's a case of "sign here please, Mr. Fowler." Robbie didn't cost anything and MO will cost anywhere from 8-15 million depending on the barcodes. Granted MO is much younger but the price tag could be a little high. Keep Robbie Edited April 17, 2006 by Bootle Buck
