Saw this on Sky Movies yesterday and although in someways didn't want to enjoy it - I reckon it was a pretty good film and did enjoy it very much.

But this one actually seemed to deliver on the comedy, interesting characters and an unusual plot without that much happening - but with more than enough to keep you interested and entertained throughout - so five out of five for me on this one.

Watched 'Closer' the other day as well and again I'd give that a 5 out of 5 - because the characters were entertaining - some thought had gone into the plot and a bit of semi-tragedy and humour was present throughout.

Really wish I could have said the same for what I'd hoped 'Lost in Translation' would have been a bit like - some interesting characters and a plot with maybe a few touchy-feely moments - plus a bit of comedy - but that film compared to the two above (Although it did have nice photography and one or two comic moments) - didn't have an actual script to go with it.

Therefore I'd imagine that the general concencus of the forum would be to hate 'Closer' and 'Sideways' and to love 'Lost in Translations' for reasons that I've not yet fathomed.
