I know it's only a one time thing but this really is an awful dive.. hopefully we won't be seeing alot more of this from our captain.. really is a dark spot on football

Rafa does need to have a word especially in light of his public utterances about Liverpool not being cheats. It's all very well having a "holier-than-thou" attitude where Chelsea and Morhino is concerned but, in this instance, Gerrard is clearly cheating.

Well i prefer to win with honest and fair means...

And we did, although if it would have been between getting e penalty for that dive and winning or drawing i'd probably go with the penalty, as im quite fickle.

When you watch it from the away end angle he did actually get caught, but not quite enough to go down like he'd been shot. If he'd stayed on his feet he'd probably scored but it worked against him second-half when he clearly got fouled on just outside the left-side of their 18 yard box.

Just drop the superior attitude to other teams then. It's embarrassing. I think Gerrard should have been booked for the appaling quality of the dive rather than just for diving. I hope he practices it a bit before doing it next although he really came through with it when it mattered thank f*ck.

Cant see it clear on the clip and don't know if gerrard claimed for the Pen, Looks to me from the clip the ball hits him after being kicked away by one of the Bolton defenders taking his leg away.

Did he claim for a Pen ?

It looks terrible, but he didn't dive. He never claimed for a pen, he just fell, it happens in football. The one in the sexond half on the edge of the box, Kemlyn Road side, was a foul.

I remember noticing he clipped his own ankle with the other foot in that play.

 

As for the second one, it's one of those where if you didn't fall, you'd never get a foul called. The player stuck his leg out to block his path.

But unfortunately you never get those given, cause they look so soft.
