Guest sniffer Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I'm hearing that the Chelski players did not vote for the PFA Player of the Year. They are supposed to have torn up their voting slips. Anyone else heard this? Got it from a journo friend of mine.
Cobs Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) I think Elisha started this rumour a week or so ago in some thread or other. FWIW i doubt it's true, there's no way it would not be discovered and they'd all look like proper cn*ts. it'd be like blatantly tapping up one of your main rivals players in public, in a restaurant or something, simply wouldn't happen... Ombudsam Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I bet it was just the foreigners who ripped them up. I bet Lampard and Terry went around and sellotaped them all back together *swoon*
Falconhoof Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 For what reason did they do it (if it's true)? they can't vote for themselves or a teammate. So they reduce the potential vote for a rival by one by not voting. Cowardly spineless and typical of Mourinho's style.
Cobs Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 yes winning the title is not enough for this evil gang, they have to fix the Footballer of the Year vote too
Swipe Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 they can't vote for themselves or a teammate. So they reduce the potential vote for a rival by one by not voting. Cowardly spineless and typical of Mourinho's style. Surely that can't be true? There are that bothered about one of their own winning the award? When the event is televised, we usually hear them saying who they voted for as they arrive at the event. Be interesting to hear what they say...
