Java updates

Yes, it's another technical question! Yes I'm an idiot who can't work a computer properly!!

 

 

However.. I keep getting promts on my desktops that I have new java updates ready to download. So I click on it and they download. Then i am told I have to install them. So I click to install them.

 

So a grey windows installer box open, saying "preparing to install" and er, that's it!

 

I could leave it there for ages and nowt seems to happen. Nothing installs, no further boxes or prompts appear. Just sits there.

 

In the end I have to click on cancel.

 

Its happened loads of times now.

 

Anyone have a clue what it is?

 

Edit: Ooh, another box just opened saying "install server not responsing" - with reply or cancel the options.
