Stevie H Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 and Lampard is just a phenomenon. no. he. f***ing. well. isn't.
floyd Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) No Reina and no Finnan. The man's a cvnt. And Makelele, does he posses hypnotic powers? Edited April 13, 2006 by floyd
Zoob Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 You could argue that Lampard is indeed a phenomenon - in so far as being an amazingly overrated player.
Benitez Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 is this league really that lacking in decent left backs that Gardner's been the best this season? And yes i know Cole and Hienze missed a lot of the year!
fred milne Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Picking somebody to play on the right of midfield, I, like any manager in the world, have pencilled in Gerrard without even pausing for breath. There is nobody better. End of story. Perhaps Gray can now stop bleating on about how Gerrard should be playing CM.
Stevie H Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 we're biased towards reina though. that he and cech have kept as many clean sheets as they have is mainly down to the defences in front of them. so shay given in goal for single-handedly keeping newcastle in the premiership.
Knox_Harrington Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Perhaps Gray can now stop bleating on about how Gerrard should be playing CM.Exactly what I thought.
Raj Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 To be fair (sic), there isn't much between Cech and Reina. (I would have had Reina, based on what I have seen). Finnan over that c**t Neville is a no brainer. He has been far superior to any right back by a mile. The rest of the team is pretty much spot on, apart from Gallas at left back. Gardner has done very well, but Gallas is superb in comparison
Earl Hafler Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) What a ****ing hypocrite. Picking somebody to play on the right of midfield, I, like any manager in the world, have pencilled in Gerrard without even pausing for breath. There is nobody better. End of story------------------Cech G Neville---Terry----Carragher---Gardner Gerrard---Lampard--Makelele---J Cole ----------Henry--------Rooney " Ye have tae play him thru the middle, ye have tae ! " all season long. Andy Gray, you f'ing hypocritical muppet. And as for ingoring Finnan - you can kiss my a***. Edited April 13, 2006 by Big Stuff
Cunny Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Gary Neville missed about 3 months of the season through injury. As for left back I'd go with Riise, although Gray has done well at Blackburn. also, I'd say Hyypia has been marginally better than Carra this season.
Knoxy Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Not the worst attempt that will be put forward by the "experts" Neville at RB is a lazy choice, and in no way deserved Seems like he's just named a random LB and yes, the Gerrard hypocrisy is typical of the bloke
charlie clown Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 whay take it seriously? the bitter c*** talks ballix the rest of the time, why take any notice of what he is saying now?

I expect Butt, who was voted as being great by Pele in the last world cup, to dominate his Liverpool counterparts, whereas Dyer's pace will expose Liverpool's dodgy defence. Stead and Kyle's work rates will trouble any defence, particularly one that leaks as many goals as Liverpools I can only see one winner here, and it's not Liverpool. Angels 4-0 Liverpool
realtarragona Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 God knows why you're all getting so worked up. Shoot the man because he has a different opinion on Liverpool players than the fans themselves do.

I think Liverpool will play defensively for a draw - something Rafa is prone to doing..what is he trying to achieve ? - and they'll be happy to pass the ball around in their own half. My player to watch is Richard Wright as he'll be under pressure and he will see alot of the ball " This column was brought to you by the numbers 6, 6 and 6 and the letters T,W,A and T.

And that's just for starters...

Angels 4-0 Liverpool Ah that cracked me up Pundits have, and always will fail to give us the credit we deserve. I think most of them have a set team, Henry, Terry, Neville etc and then add few players who have done amazingly well. I would have ----------Given---------- -Finnan - Carragher - Terry - Gallas --Gerrard - Carrick - Sissoko--- ---Keane - Henry - Rooney---
Rory Fitzgerald Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Frank Lampard currently follows only the brilliant Ronaldinho in the world order. Amend to read; Frank Lampard currently follows Henry, Rooney, Gerrard, Alonso amongst others in the Premiership and Ronaldinho, Schevchenko, Kaka, Eto'o, Messi, Xavi, Ballack, amongst others in the world order. Therefore, I suppose he can consider himself lucky to get a mention in the team of the season to date
