can't agree with that mate - i don't know one person who would consider them to be THE main rival to us.. it will and should always be the Mancs and the Bitters without exception.. i am p'd off by fans taking Chelsea far more serious than they should just because they're currently doing well - short term hatred should not overcome long term hatred.. some prick in our work wants Man U to come back and win the league cos he doesn't like Chelsea cos "they've ruined the game with their money" FFS! he professes to be a Liverpool fan the c***!

rivalry has a lot to do with geography.

 

Losing to Chelsea doesn't hurt nearly as much if you live in the NW & go into work with no Chelsea fans there. Losing to the s**** or Mancs & then going to work where it's teeming with them...

It's a f*cking shyte rivalry. They always f*cking beat us. That's not why I hate them though. I didn't like them pre-abramovich under Bates. They seemed to think they were bigger than they were and that they mattered.
