How the hell is Lampard in there? He's been very poor this season. Rooney also went 12 games without scoring (i.e. one third of the season) and was rubbish in those twelve game.

 

You kind of get the feeling that if Lampard, Gerrard, Terry and Rooney all joined Barca in the summer, they would still be voted in the Premiership players of the year anyway.

I think names like Keane this season and Cahill last season can feel legitimate grievance at not making these lists. They're chosen a bit lazily.

Lennon has only started 17 games aswell, he's a good prospect like but theres been plenty of games where he's done f*** all all match but run down blind alleys. It is odd he's in there instead of Momo.
