Guest roger Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Our Golden Goal man on the Supporters Bus paid out to the 43rd minute person based on George's announcement. But the goal was in added time as we all saw. Which caused the supporter who had the added time box on the sheet to asked questions. Here's the Club response to a members email Dear Mike I have the official line on how the Golden Goal is done here at Anfield. If the goal is scored after the 45 mins has been played this time is then deducted from the 45 mins. Thus this is the time of the Golden Goal. Our Development Association has confirmed the official time as 43 min 17 secs. I hope that this clears up your query. With kind regards Joan Byrne Membership Office Posted as some people may not have known thats the way it operates.
