Stevie G and Luis both guilty of it today,I can't f***ing stand it when our players do it,particularly when I bitch and whine about Drogba doing it all the time. Gerrard didn't even have to go down,it was embarrassing.

that Garcia one didn't seem a dive, he got up straight away and didn't make any fuss to the referee, just got on with it, looked like he lost his balance. Unless there was another instance?

That's why you shouldn't go off on one when other teams do it. Everyone does it. I would have happily had a pen for the stevie one in the first half if it had got given.

 

I really don't understand having a go at other teams for diving. It's stupid. How silly does Gerrard look now after what he said a few days ago. Stevie needs to get better at it though. I'm happy for him to do it if he does.

I thought, indulgently, that Gerrard might just have been evading the tackle the first time, but then to collapse when he wasn't even in the penalty area - as has been said, he's better than that.

Things like this even themselves out over time, we have got loads of pens (match winning ones at that) over the years from Rushie, John Aldridge and Michael Owen that could be considered diving and have had plenty given against us that maybe shouldn't have
