Apparently the Champions League took a lot out of them, tired them out and meant they had a very slow start.

This is a problem with the bbc full stop these days. there are no journalists involved in any sports coverage these days or hardly any. Its ex player or "celebrities" only and therefore its either fence sitting or inane comment only.
