Been playing well again, he's been Sociedads best player by a mile, showed brilliant leap to get a header in and should of really scored it, had a fantastic free kick well saved by Casillas, had another decent attempt which Casillas saved, had a right footed shot which wasnt to good and has caused a few other problems.

he looked good... Balague has worried me though with the statement that he may have to stay 6 months longer to get the passport issues sorted...

That would take the p1ss.

Surely these performances in La Liga will help his case when we apply for a permit next season.

Not good enough for the PL but good enough for La Liga?

6 starts. The lad probably isnt even in full flow yet either after his injury. He's going to be a goodun, Carnage II :D

This goal was nowhere near as good as his last one. I've gone off him.

How talented is robinho. Takes the wrong option sometimes but the commentators were hammering him. He's only young FFS!

What was all that about giving beckham the armband and letting his attitude rub off. I think it wa said in the context of Guti being sent of for petulance. Beckham's the worst in the world for that, and stupid tackles.

May I be the first in this thread to suggest that we sack Parry, Moores, Heighway and Hughie McCauley.

And Beryl the tea lady

Who the hell was that co-commentator. He was dreadful. Really embarrassing. He sounded like someone off Phoenix Nights, yet he was telling Real Madrid how it should be done.

Not that I like Real Madrid in the slightest, but my word, he was awful to listen to. Almost as bad as Steve Claridge.

I rather we just go down the route of sacking the twunts who won't give Speedie G a work permit :hmm:

I don't go in for a lot of the paranoia on some LFC forums, but there's summat not right if the kid I watched tonight isn't good enough for a work permit - considering some of those in the premiership who have recieved them with no problems at all.

The problem is we won't pay the necessary to ease the paperwork...

That right?

LFC and their damn morals!

All allegedly, obviously. I remember Brad Friedel intimating something along those lines when commenting on how Tim Howard managed to get a work permit
