Difference between say us and Newcastle, is their is a lot of good professionals at Liverpool. I know their might be at Newcastle, but we don?t seem to have a Bowyer, Woodgate or Dyer, who were there when he had his troubles. What we do have is a Carra, Stevie, Sami and Xabi, who will knock him into shape if need be. (Carra might take this knocking into shape a bit too far if he was too start playing up though)

I think Darren Bent though would be a better option, and According to Elisha, Rafa is looking at him

He's a bit of a prick, but whenever I've seen him play this year he always seems to have a good game. Scored some crackers aswell. Watching him and Pongolle play up front together just highlights how far Pongolle has still got to come if he wants to make it in this league.

 

I reckon we could do better than Bellamy, but if we could bag him on the cheap he could do a job - just the attitude problems that are a bit annoying.

In all honesty I thought we'd be setting our sights higher this summer.

 

He's more a second striker than an out and out goalscorer. Would have him bottom of the list of strikers that we've been linked to so far, taking into account his style of play, his probable price and his attitude.

 

I doubt we'd get him for less than £10 million anyway and there are better options out there for that much.

 

Oh and Jeff Stelling just mentioned this link on Sky Sports a few mins ago.

In today's football Echo Bascombe says that Bellamy is under very serious consideration.

 

This could become this summer's Bowyer debate.

 

For me, if Rafa wants him, let's get him. Let's face it, he's sheer quality.
