Cunny Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 obviously who Bascombe was referring to when in his report he said when Liverpool make signings with pace to burn.
CarraLegend Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 A total f***wit, his antics at Wolves when Newcastle lost there were embarassing and summed him up, whether the allegations are true or false he's always involved in 2 or 3 "nightclub" incidents a season, he's got dodgy hamstrings, his goalscoring record isnt that great anyway, other than that though he's ace.
floyd Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 (edited) He is good enough, he is also a massive c***.Difference between say us and Newcastle, is their is a lot of good professionals at Liverpool. I know their might be at Newcastle, but we don?t seem to have a Bowyer, Woodgate or Dyer, who were there when he had his troubles. What we do have is a Carra, Stevie, Sami and Xabi, who will knock him into shape if need be. (Carra might take this knocking into shape a bit too far if he was too start playing up though) I think Darren Bent though would be a better option, and According to Elisha, Rafa is looking at him Edited April 8, 2006 by floyd
McBain Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I hope it's just that he's on the shortlist but not at the top Owen and Defoe should both be ahead of him and neither would cost much if any more
Earl Hafler Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Not good enough. And a right c***. I'd have used the term " horrible little c*** " but there we go. Don't believe this for a second.
Armin_Tamzarian Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Please don't sign him Rafa, the man is a c*** of the highest order.
Morse Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 He is good enough, he is also a massive c***. Cannot argue with this.I like Bellamy. Didn't I hear that he was a Liverpool fan too? he'd cost about £15m and he's not worth that. How do you work that out?
abuusayd Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 What's his contract situation, has he signed for blackburn or is he still on loan?
Stevie H Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Cannot argue with this.I like Bellamy. Didn't I hear that he was a Liverpool fan too?How do you work that out? because blackburn aren't skint and wouldn't sell their best player on the cheap.
RP Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 £15mil sounds like a lot of money!! He's a very good player and a horrible little c***.
liverbird04 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 if rafa thought cisse had a bad attitude ,bellamy would take things to a whole new level ,just doesn't make sense to me.
McBain Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Rafa signed Crouch. He's not afraid of making decisions that the majority cant understand Saying that though I still cant see it Was the Bellamy bit hidden away in some other story or an article just about that?
Guest JimmyJames Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Great player. Would have him over Owen. £15M is too much though.
Earl Hafler Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Great player. Would have him over Owen. £15M is too much though. Poor start, horrific middle but a slight reprieve at the end. 1/10.
Guest JimmyJames Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Poor start, horrific middle but a slight reprieve at the end. 1/10. I should get a bonus for even mentioning Owen.
David Hodgson Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 But you forgot the Parry bit la. Is that addressed to me kidda ?
Koller49 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 He's a bit of a prick, but whenever I've seen him play this year he always seems to have a good game. Scored some crackers aswell. Watching him and Pongolle play up front together just highlights how far Pongolle has still got to come if he wants to make it in this league. I reckon we could do better than Bellamy, but if we could bag him on the cheap he could do a job - just the attitude problems that are a bit annoying.
anny road Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 if rafa thought cisse had a bad attitude ,bellamy would take things to a whole new level ,just doesn't make sense to me. his attitude at Blackburn has been ok but at Newcastle he was a c***
jariiiiiiiiiise Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 his attitude at Blackburn has been ok but at Newcastle he was a c*** I thought his comment while in scotland were funny great player oreble c*nt thou
jimmylibel Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 In all honesty I thought we'd be setting our sights higher this summer. He's more a second striker than an out and out goalscorer. Would have him bottom of the list of strikers that we've been linked to so far, taking into account his style of play, his probable price and his attitude. I doubt we'd get him for less than £10 million anyway and there are better options out there for that much. Oh and Jeff Stelling just mentioned this link on Sky Sports a few mins ago.
Guest Jude Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 His attitude at Celtic last season was brilliant and not one Celtic player had a bad word to say about him, even Neil Lennon said he was one of the hardest trainers he ever saw in football. If Rafa thinks he is the type of player we need in order for us to progress more then im all for it.
jimmylibel Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 In today's football Echo Bascombe says that Bellamy is under very serious consideration. This could become this summer's Bowyer debate. For me, if Rafa wants him, let's get him. Let's face it, he's sheer quality. Any other nuggets in that article David? Surprised about this - couldn't see us signing both him and Kuyt in the summer.
