jimmylibel Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Very disappointed news about Paco Herrara - seems to be a brilliant scout and has obviously had a big effect on the reserves this season.
Kahnee Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 The return of Damiano Still bothers me that Gravy may have been right about him
jimmylibel Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Still bothers me that Gravy may have been right about him Just content yourself with the knowledge that it wasn't Gravy who was correct, it was Crevosiaur (sp).

Falconhoof Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 Still bothers me that Gravy may have been right about him What was the story again. All i'm remembering is that a lot of the players didn't like his attitude.
jimmylibel Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 What was the story again. All i'm remembering is that a lot of the players didn't like his attitude. Think that was about it - also that GH had lost the dressing room, etc, etc.
Falconhoof Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 and he looked like a Vampire in the dugout. Moving on from Damiano though. It will be interesting to see where Rafa goes for the next scout/coach. I think the safe money will be a guy from Spain because thats where the bulk of our scouting has been so far, its also the more sensible place to pick up bargains.
Kahnee Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 What was the story again. All i'm remembering is that a lot of the players didn't like his attitude. He split the team/dressing room/back room/canteen staff. He'd have started work on the ball boys if we had any. Someone else (forget who) was busy claiming that the players at Fulham rated him etc as I recall. Unless that was Gravy...

It wasn't Crevosier it came from, it was someone I knew on the first team staff at Fulham. Cobs on the other had a mate whose aunt knew one of the players tea boys who said Damiano was a good bloke.
charlie clown Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 not if he's got a new job lined up in Spain. If he's going back into full time coaching, doubt he'll be moonlighting for Liverpool in his spare time I read a couple of months back when this was first mentioned that that was his probable role and that Rafa wanted him to continue scouting from his Spanish base. Haven't a clue what the source was now though.
Mike Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Still bothers me that Gravy may have been right about him only anecdotal of course, but i met him twice professionally at Melwood and he was a nice guy and switched on.
