Some people hate the speculation with a vengence

I dont .

But these forums are all about s***, sh!te , and gossip.

 

What are your opinions (founded or unfounded ) of who we will sign in the summer.

 

I think Simoa is nailed on , as is Owen.

Hence the window opens just after the end of the season (but that may only be for domestic transfers).

Yep that's true. However as clubs don't like paying players when they are of no use to them (ie the close season) contracts only tend to date to around the beginning of July. Not the rule obviously, just the way they practice.

Forget Simao, Birmingham down today and have 8 players out of contract this summer. They're going to have to sell to construct a team that can compete in the championship - how much for Pennant on the cheap?
