Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Ham-Kam starlet Marcus Petersen says he will join Liverpool on trial in the summer. The 15-year-old has made his name as a promising striker and is expected to travel to Anfield at the end of the season in order to impress Reds boss Rafa Benitez. Boasting pace and a fierce shot, Petersen will be keen to make an impression at the club he supports, but the starlet says he is focused on breaking into the Ham-Kam team in the next 12 months. "It took some days before I decided," Petersen told Dagbladet. "I have been a Liverpool supporter since I was born, my dad is also one. "It will surely be educative, my ambition is to turn professional, but I have got to wait a few years. "Ham-Kam is very good with young players, they work hard with us and are not afraid to give us the chance." doesn't add up
McBain Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 "I have been a Liverpool supporter since I was born" Bet he hasn't.

Kenny_ Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 As well as receiving offers from us he's also supposed to have received offers from the likes of Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. He's starred in four games for Ham-Kam's first team in their pre-season preparations and is likely to make his debut in the Norwegian top division this season which is quite impressive considering he's only turning 16 this summer. An instinctive striker according to Ham-Kam's head coach, the former Chelsea goalie Frode Grodaas.
Ombudsam Posted April 5, 2006 Author Posted April 5, 2006 it was some b******s or other though wasn't it I think there was lots of scouting activity under GH

The Hitman Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 He's f***ing fifteen,he won't come through for several years, even if he is good enough. There should be a separate forum for "youth prospects" IMO.I've learnt the lessons from the saviours that were Le Tallec and Pongolle.
Big G Superhero Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 "I have been a Liverpool supporter since I was born" Bet he hasn't. Well he can hardly say 'since I was a boy' when he still is a boy, can he
