You must pick 2 from the 60's, 2 from the 70's, 2 from the 80's, 2 from the 90's, 2 from the 00's

 

and then you can have another 2 from any decade.

 

Eleven players plus one Manager. Any formation you like. It's tougher than you think...

I know and understand that, but things like this come down to peoples favs, ie Robbie over Rushie who has to be the best striker I have ever seen wear a Liverpool shirt. So you would think that some oldie somewhere would put Keegan in there.

 

Another example would be Bestie at United. Some would say he was surpassed by Giggsy, yet you will always see a George Best in there, even a Duncan Edwards, yet very few of us have ever seen him play.

No, trust me I am almost 49 (and I idolised Keegan) but you'd have to be delusional to put him ahead of Dalglish.

 

Similarly I am baffled as to how anybody, who had seen both play, could put Giggs over Best. Your Duncan Edwards was a legend tho' lord knows how old you'd need to be to have seen him in action.

No self respecting oldy would waste time doing this stupid exercise anyway. How many of you have actually seen a game with all the players mentioned?

How about spending hours arranging the players in your posts to show the formation positions. Some peeps have way too much time on their hands.
