Scally the Wag Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Any instrument, and voice counts as an instrument of course... I do and can enjoy any number of instruments this way. I rather like them as part of an overall concert experience. For 'classical' music, I have to cheat a bit cos whilst an awful lot of stuff was written for soloists yet there is still a platform in the background - think piano concertos as an example... The thought came up t'other day when I was listening to a much-liked drum solo (percussion if you're Welsh). Then I realised how much music I like is based around 'solo' performances. Just wondering, you cannot buy popcorn in this thread.
