charlie clown Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Speedie always hated that little twunt, even when he scored against the bluenoses.
Guest jenky Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Julian Dicks - For his enthusiasm rather than ability
fred milne Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 You could argue that Aldo's was a short LFC career - January 87 to September 89.
Leo No.8 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Anelka - he got a lot of support whilst he was here. Opinions are still divided on him of course, but he got fantastic backing from the stands, which he's always said was one of the big reasons he wishes he could have stayed. How about Markus Babbel as well - he's a great example...
fyds Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I'd go along with that selection Phil. I loved Titi - if you'll pardon the expression. The only oldie I could add to the list would be Tony Hateley. That also probably qualifies as the shortest lived!
XabisBadFoot Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Speedie nice one dodgy1 lad. Completely agree..!
nbryan1764 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 definitely oh joey joey. Still loved today and whenever he has been back in any capacity he has received an unbelievable reaction
Cam Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Can't believe no-one's mentioned Paddy Berger. Euro '96 and a long wait whetted our appetites, 12000 on the Kop for his reserves debut, those early goals and a shot (v Chelsea?) which was 3mm over the ball but I swear it was hit at 250mph. Then there's Collymore. And despite being an unheard-of Finn from holland I think everyone knew Hyypia was the centreback we were all waiting for before he even kicked a ball in red.
L19red Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 John Wark is a decent shout.more of a high pitched squeak than a shout avi cohen. Well I liked him anyway. and a bit off topic but are there any other players who have scored for and against us in the same game? I can't remember anyone.

The Hitman Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 How long is short?Litmanen was here for a while, but he didn't play much.
smithdown Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 some people haven't read the thread title: Players with SHORT Liverpool careers. They didn't come any shorter than Sammy Lee, did they?
