Djib the Tattoo or The Real Ronaldo

Next season, if given the choice, would you have Cisse or Ronaldo on our books ?

The one who is one of the best strikers in the world over the one who is the 3rd/4th best striker at the club please.

That was easy.

Is it just between those two options though? I mean does MO come into this equation at all?

If I was to name one striker in the world who's the antithesis of a Rafa type striker it would be Fat Ron

Living off his reputation, lazy, doesn't track back, quick, scores goals

Is this a serious question?

Hyperthetical, treat it as you wish.

Ronaldo everytime, anyone who says otherwise needs to be sectioned straight away.

I'm not so sure, I'd rather have someone who is desperate to play for the club than someone just here to pick up a huge wage packet. No doubt Ronaldo is /was one of the best player, but I don't want him here as I don't believe he will magically find his hunger again and put the required 100% into playing for Liverpool. I also think his wages would be better distributed elsewhere.

Preferably neither. But I suppose if I have to choose it would be Ronaldo. Just as long as we sign somebody else with pace and an eye for goal.

Ronaldo is so fat and thus has lost alot of speed, but when on the ball he still can beat 90% of defenders with his pace and power.

Cisse is so athletic and can probably run faster than Ronaldo over any distance, but when on the ball he still struggles to beat 90% of defenders with pace or power.

That and of course, the small little factor that Ronaldo is still one of the worlds best goalscorers.

I remember lots of people saying that last year about Figo.

He seems to be doing alright this year.

True. But I think he would find it hard to adapt to the physicality of the Premiership.

not particularly sure i'd want either tbh.

Ronaldo was great last night, worked his t*** off, scored a cracker, upfront by himself. Methinks belly aside, Rafa would have liked what he saw.

Cisse definitely for me, I think he's unfairly pilloried at times and considering his problems this year he's still got 15 goals and made some good assists. If his attitude is that he wants to stay at Liverpool, learn from Rafa and the players around him, then he could still make the grade I think.

Consider yourself sectioned

Figo is class and has never relied on outright pace. His game is about quick feet, deceptive turns and shimmies, world class delivery with both feet and intelligent movement. And a knack for scoring important goals. You don't lose those attributes drastically just because you've hit 30.

Cisse has a good game yesterday, a very good game yet someone still finds the need to make a thread aimed to belittle him and make him look 2nd rate

Given the choice, Cisse, at least he has a desire to play for the club and get better.

Cannot see Ronaldo be interested in anything but eating and collecting his pay.

Yep, who needs the media to knock our players...

The one that's on the diet for the World Cup will do nicely..

Which only means he'll return to being a fat c*** in double quick time as soon as the competition is over, which unfortunatley is when we'd get him.

I really didn't think anyone would have chosen Cisse...
