Advice?

The U14's played yesterday, my team against a side run by a good mate of mine who coincidentally is working around my house at the minute (thank f*ck it was 1-1). He called me after the game to report an 'incident'. To paraphrase Wenger 'I (really) didn't see it'.

Our striker has Italian parents, it maybe the Latin temperament I don't know if such a thing exists in real life but he's quite 'lively', a wind up merchant and a very good player. However he is always upsetting opponents with his yap especially when he scores (which is quite a lot).

Apparently he spat at an opponent yesterday, the kid told his manager who reported it to me. His version of events was he spat at him with no provocation. When asked what happened next the kid said he called our lad a 'Pakki' in retaliation. My mate explained that had their centre back who is black was called a n***** by an opponent he suspects there would be a be a free for all and that he just shouldn't call people racist names no matter what the circumstances.

The kid is obviously lying about the sequence of events. I'm inclined to leave it rest as our lad has been severely provoked but on the other hand I can't abide spitting no matter what the provocation, I would actuially have preferred him to punch the other kid.
