Whatever you think of Sky, you realise how good there commentators are when you have to listen to this lot.

 

Clive Tyldsley was so f***ing annoying tonight. Why must he constantly attempt to be funny? He's an idiot. So smug. And as for David Pleat. Even with that hair cut he once manager to pull a hooker, so he should be retire gracefully and savour the memories.

 

I turned it over to the Barca match and heard, er, the one commentator talk about Iniesta. Apparently he's considered one of the "also-rans" at Barca

 

Just cos he can't get into a starting line up which has the best forward line in Europe.

 

I'll have that "also-ran" in our team if he's up for grabs!

And he technically is an also-ran AT BARCA (At Barca being the keywords).

 

If you had Shevchenko, van Nistlerooy and say...Raul in the same team - and Raul never got a chance to play...EVER...or only came on in the last 5 minutes of every game - he'd be considered an also ran AT THAT team.

 

Doesn't mean he's a bad player...

Tyldsley is the worst commentator ever.

It used to be to announce that "for those watching in black and white, Liverpool are in the red shirts" but even that is now unnecessary.

 

It's be nice if they could inform us about what's going on off camera - but that's obviously beyond their capabilities.

 

Tyldesley's idea of commentary is to say the player's surname, followed by his first name then his surname again.

 

He should be shot.
